Big thanks to all the staff at the Willow Stream Spa at the Fairmont Pacific Rim Hotel! As usual, they treated us like royalty.
11 lucky DNA ladies were treated to pre-dinner drinks at the spa before dinner at Oru, PLUS mini-treatments. What a way to finish work – walking into the calming spa, being handed a glass of wine, and settling into a mini-manicure, chair massage, or make-up application.
After our drinks and mini spa treatment, we went downstairs to Oru Restaurant for a lovely dinner. Read here for more on dinner.
Thanks to everyone who came out! Pictures from the dinner will be in our next newsletter.

Last year, DNA hosted our wine tasting event at the lovely Eclektica Art Gallery on Seymour Street downtown, near the old A&B Sound.
Not long after, we noticed the location shuttered, which was sad to see as the gallery was amazing!
Now, owner Kim Merrick reports she’s found a new location for the gallery in Yaletown, 1118 Homer Street. Tel: 604-568-1491.
Please stop by, say hi, and take a look!
For more details on the original Eclektica, view DNA chair Angie Schick’s write-up HERE.

Hope everyone enjoyed the Olympics, which were amazing here in Vancouver!
While DNA took most of February off to give the Olymipcs all the attention, we hosted a few great events beforehand:
- A fun snowshoeing trek on Cypress, which didn’t have lots of snow, but enough!
- An open lunch for members and non-members at Irashai Japanese Restaurant
- The DNA board also packaged and delivered our annual Valentine’s gift delivery to DNA members. This year’s gift featured three delicious and beautiful chocolate hearts from Thomas Haas Chocolates and handmade cards made by DNA member Caroline Hickton.
Looking forward to our March events!
- The co-ed Martini Mixer this Thursday, March 11, 5:30pm, including a great prize from DNA member Nancy Mudford’s amazing Le Petit Spa.
- A members dinner on Tuesday, March 23 at Oru, the new restaurant at the Fairmont Pacific Rim getting raves.
See you out there!

A fun partner game during snowshoeing.
